Credit: Brantley GutierrezFoo Fighters, Lorde and The Killers are among the nominees for the 2018 NME Awards, given out each year by British publication NME.
Lorde leads the nominees with nods in four categories: Best International Solo Artist, Best Album for Melodrama, Best Track for “Green Light,” and Best Live Artist.
Foo Fighters and The Killers will compete for the Best International Band award, as will Paramore, The National, Haim and rap trio Migos. The Best British Band nominees include Alt-J, Bastille, The xx, The 1975, Wolf Alice and Kasabian.
The Foos are also up for Best Festival Headliner, and The Killers’ surprise set at Glastonbury is up for Music Moment of the Year.
The Music Moment of the Year category also includes Linkin Park‘s Chester Bennington Memorial Concert, and Noel Gallagher playing the Oasis classic “Don’t Look Back in Anger” at the Manchester Arena’s first show following the May 2017 bombing at the venue.
As previously reported, Liam Gallagher will receive the NME‘s “Godlike Genius” award at the ceremony. His brother Noel received the award in 2012.
