Fall Out Boy encourages “Expensive Mistakes” on new song, “Wilson”

ABC/Randy HolmesFall Out Boy‘s new song “Wilson (Expensive Mistakes)” has arrived, a day earlier than originally promised. The track is available for digital download, and its accompanied by a typically weird and humorous video, streaming now on YouTube.

The video finds Fall Out Boy stuck in a cheesy infomercial, selling items from their past videos, including life-size llama puppets and severed hands. It also directs you to call the number 1-833-Out-Boys, which gives you even more options to make more “expensive mistakes,” including pre-ordering the band’s new album, Mania.

The song itself is equally cheeky — it features lines like “I hope the roof flies off and we get blown out into space” and “I’ll stop wearing black when they make a darker color.”

Mania arrives January 19. Along with “Wilson,” it features the previously released songs “Young and Menace,” “Champion,” “The Last of the Real Ones” and “Hold Me Tight or Don’t.”
