The man who carried out Sunday’s mass shooting in Las Vegas may have also considered targeting another music festival.

Sources tell ABC News that gunman Stephen Paddock booked hotel rooms in Chicago during Lollapalooza. Held August 3-6 in Grant Park, Lolla featured headliners Muse, Chance the Rapper, The Killers and Arcade Fire.

One of the hotels at which Paddock booked a room was The Blackstone on S. Michigan Ave, which is across from Grant Park. A spokesperson for the Blackstone says that no guest under that name stayed at the hotel during Lollapalooza, but would not address questions about Paddock making a reservation.

Investigators don’t know if Paddock actually traveled to Chicago, but are currently working to find that out.

Paddock opened fire on a crowd of more of more than 22,000 attendees of last Sunday’s Route 91 Harvest Festival in Vegas from the 32nd floor of the nearby Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, killing 58 people and injuring more than 500. He’s then believed to have taken his own life.
