Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” tops “Billboard” Digital Song Sales chart

ABC/Randy HolmesImagine Dragons has the best-selling song in America. The band’s single “Thunder” currently sits at the top of Billboard‘s Digital Song Sales chart.

“Thunder” is the first Imagine Dragons track to top Digital Song Sales; they previously peaked at number two with “Believer” earlier this year and “Radioactive” in 2013. In fact, “Thunder” is the first current rock song to lead Digital Song Sales since Lorde‘s “Royals” ruled the chart for five weeks in 2013.

In other Imagine Dragons charting news, “Believer” has been knocked from the top of Billboard‘s Hot Rock Songs chart after 29 weeks, one week shy of Twenty One Pilots‘ record-holding reign of 30 weeks with “Heathens.” The new Hot Rock Songs champ is Portugal. the Man’s hit single “Feel It Still.”

Both “Thunder” and “Believer” are track from Imagine Dragons’ new album Evolve. The band is currently on the road in support of Evolve on a North American tour.
